BWPSS, in the Taiga Nova district of Fort McMurray, was completed in 2015.  A mixed use, steel and concrete building, it houses a 150 bed suite hotel with common amenity space and a “grab and go”, an office building, and underground parking.  With Lori Cox Design on board as our interior designer, a unique high end spec was implemented, differentiating this facility from other Best Western Plus franchises.  Materials used are durable and on the higher end of the quality spectrum, with colours and patterns selected to disguise the inevitable staining that will arise from the boots of the hotel’s clientele.  Today the hotel is receiving top recommendations from online sources and the office building is full, despite challenges in local industry.
