Our second project with Eagle Builders, in partnership with Heritage Valley Capital, this 7 storey pre-cast concrete building with 222 rental suites is located in central Edmonton, near the future West Valley LRT line. Careful attention to Alberta’s building code and Standata interpretations allowed for the development of this project without inclusion of high-rise requirements such as smoke control and emergency power generation. This is our second development to incorporate unique above ground parking enclosed within the building envelope, limiting excavation to one storey and significantly saving on cost and timing. Bold textures and patterns, colour contrast, and placement and sizing of balcony support columns provide the articulation needed to enhance the simple massing and construction of the project.
