A revised and simplified version of the Sanctuary apartments incorporating smaller units and higher density with the goal of providing an exceptional rental product.  Using traditional design elements borrowed from the owner’s experience with various recreational retreats in British Columbia, the project offers a contextual and approachable design.  Use of concrete structural elements allowed for a smaller floor to floor dimension, and a unique code classification, facilitating the inclusion of a remarkable 5th floor amenity space.
